Commercial and eCommerce Makeup Artist Gold Coast and Brisbane

Commercial Make Up

Commercial work has to be fast, consistent and invisible. The makeup should sell the product, not distract from it, and it has to look identical on the fortieth shot as it did on the first.

I work with businesses, fashion brands, photographers and advertising agencies on catalogue and eCommerce shoots, marketing campaigns, television and corporate branding, across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and the surrounding areas. Camera ready makeup, professional technique and premium products, kept consistent across all of your brand imagery.

Commercial and eCommerce Makeup

What Commercial & Ecommerce Makeup entails

I arrive early, set up out of the way and work to the call sheet. Makeup is matched to the lighting and the product, kept consistent across every look, and touched up between setups so the camera never catches a shine or a shifted lip line. I keep notes and reference photos so day two matches day one. For bigger call sheets I bring an assistant or a second artist so the schedule holds.

Best suited for:

  • eCommerce and catalogue shoots, including high volume days with many changes
  • Brand, fashion and lifestyle campaigns
  • Advertising, television and corporate video
  • Social media content and product photography
  • Corporate branding and team headshots

Where I travel to

I am based at Jacobs Well, which sits between the Gold Coast and Brisbane and puts most of South East Queensland comfortably within reach.

I regularly work across the Gold Coast, from Coomera and Hope Island through Southport, Main Beach, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, and north through Brisbane, Redland Bay and Cleveland. I also travel to Mount Tamborine, the Scenic Rim and into Northern New South Wales.

Travel starts at $10 for bookings under 15km and is charged by distance from there. If you are further afield, ask me and I will let you know.

Commercial Makeup FAQs

Questions most clients ask me

  • How many people can you make up in a day?

It depends on the looks and the changes. Send me the call sheet and I will tell you honestly whether it is a one artist day or whether we need a second.

  • Do you supply your own makeup kit?

Yes, everything. All I need is a bench or table and a power point.

  • Can you keep the look consistent across a long campaign?

Yes. I keep notes and reference photos for every look, so your imagery matches across shoot days and across campaigns.

  • Do you do hair as well?

Yes. Hair and makeup can both sit with me, which usually saves a booking and keeps the day moving.
