There is nothing quite like the moment a bride turns to the mirror and sees herself finished. After more than 25 years and more weddings than I can count, that moment still gets me every time.
I am Jessica, an award winning makeup artist and hair stylist based between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. I come to you, wherever you are getting ready, and I look after both your hair and your makeup on your big day, so there is only one person to organise on the morning.

My goal is simple. To make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself, not a version of somebody else.
Some brides want soft and natural, the kind of look that is barely there in person but photographs beautifully. Others want full Hollywood glamour. Most want something in between, and part of my job is helping you work out where you sit. We talk it all through long before the day, so there are no surprises on the morning.
I have been a qualified hairdresser for over 30 years and a makeup artist for more than 25, and work with trusted partners to ensure that your hair and your makeup are done with the same eye, in the same style.
Looking after your bridal party
Most of my weddings are not just the bride. It is bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls, and often the groom too.
I price per person, and the rate comes down as the group grows, so a larger party works out better value for each person. If your group is big or your ceremony is early, I bring a second artist so that nobody feels rushed and everybody is ready at the same time.

Hair and makeup together: $230 to $280 per person, depending on the length and texture of your hair.
Blow dry: $50 to $130, again depending on hair length and texture.
Travel is charged separately by distance. Full details are on my price list.
Where I travel to
I am based at Jacobs Well, which sits between the Gold Coast and Brisbane and puts most of South East Queensland comfortably within reach.
I regularly work across the Gold Coast, from Coomera and Hope Island through Southport, Main Beach, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, and north through Brisbane, Redland Bay and Cleveland. I also travel to Mount Tamborine, the Scenic Rim and into Northern New South Wales.
Travel starts at $10 for bookings under 15km and is charged by distance from there. If you are further afield, ask me and I will let you know.

FAQs
Questions most brides ask me
How far in advance should I book my wedding makeup?
As early as you can. I take one wedding per day and Saturdays in particular book out well ahead, often a year or more in advance for peak season. If your date is close, still ask, because I do occasionally have availability.
Do you come to us?
Yes, always. I am fully mobile and I come to wherever you are getting ready, whether that is your home, your venue or a hotel. You do not need to travel anywhere on your wedding morning.
Do I need a makeup trial before my wedding?
I strongly recommend one. It takes the guesswork out of the morning and means we both know exactly what we are creating. Book it at least three months before your wedding.
How long does wedding makeup and hair take on the day?
Around 45 minutes to an hour for the bride, and roughly 30 to 45 minutes for each additional person, depending on whether they are having hair as well as makeup. I will give you a proper running order once I know your numbers and your ceremony time.
Can you do my hair as well as my makeup?
Yes. I trained as a hairdresser first and have been doing hair for over 30 years, so you do not need to book a separate stylist.
What if my wedding is outside the areas you have listed?
Just ask. I travel further than the areas listed here for the right booking, including interstate for commercial work. Travel is charged by distance and I will always quote it clearly before you commit.
